"Macromedia, what the web can be." This slogan for Macromedia is quickly becoming a reality for many designers. With the release of it's MX line, Macromedia has taken leaps and bounds in developing easier to use, multimedia and animation rich applications from CD-Roms to websites throughout the internet. Many will credit former Allaire Corporation and current Macromedia Chief Technology Officer Jeremy Allaire with making this visualization a reality. With currently 12 years of internet experience under his belt, he is credited with being directly invloved to create such programs as Coldfusion, ASP, Flash, Dreamweaver, as well as other products which garner the Macromedia name (Tual 1).
